Kashmir Independence Day   2023/10/23

An event related to Kashmir Independence day was organized by Directorate of Student Affairs in Youth Development Centre on 23^rd Oct 2023. The main purpose of this event was to create awareness about the struggles of our ancestors for freedom of the state Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

The event started with the recitation of few verses from Holy Quran and Naat. Dr.Shazia Khatoon, Director Student Affairs gave opening  note about the importance of this day. Whereas, Students from different department presented briefly about the sacrifices and struggles of peoples for the sake of Independence of AJ&K in their speeches, Milli Naghmas and plays. They also gave their gratitude to the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir and Palestine for their sacrifices for freedom.

Chief Guest Dr. Kamal Hussain Khan, Dean Faculty of Science & Technology in his concluding speech highly appreciated remarkable participation of the attendees on conducting a very important event in the remembrance of freedom fighters. He also gave brief description about the background of foundation of independent state Kashmir.

All the participants prayed for the People of Palestine and Indian Occupied Kashmir at the end of Event.
