Blood Donation Camp on 17th February 2026 in collaboration with District Headquarters Hospital Bagh,

 

The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Women University Bagh organized a Blood Donation Camp on 17th February 2026 in collaboration with District Headquarters Hospital Bagh, with valuable support from Al-Haider Foundation and Nexus Care Foundation. The activity was arranged as a practical assignment for students of Allied Health Sciences to enhance their professional skills, social responsibility, and awareness regarding voluntary blood donation and transfusion services. Under the supervision of qualified medical personnel, proper donor screening, hygienic blood collection, and post-donation care were ensured, providing students with hands-on exposure to real-world healthcare practices, teamwork, and patient-centered service. The camp successfully collected 17 pints of blood, contributing to local healthcare needs and strengthening the linkage between academia and community service. This initiative reflected the university’s commitment to experiential learning, public health promotion, and the development of compassionate and competent healthcare professionals dedicated to serving society.
